Prior to this he had a 14 year career at Microsoft, holding a variety of roles in providing Internet access to MSN, pioneering Virtual Private Networking products, and integrating Instant Messaging with Voice Over IP networks. Don founded the BioIT Alliance from within Microsoft to accelerate collaboration in translational research.
Houda Hachad, Pharm.D.
Co-Founder & Chief Science Officer
Houda is an entrepreneurial scientist with deep experience in pharmacology and pharmacogenetics. At the University of Washington, she co-developed two knowledge-based technologies, a drug interaction database (DIDB) and a pharmacogenetics database (e-PKGene©). Both leverage revenue-based funding and are widely used by pharmaceutical companies, regulatory agencies, and academic institutions worldwide.

Yin brings more than 30 years of experience building software systems at Microsoft, TeleSys Software and Synergie.
Director of Business Development
For the past 20 years, Rick has held business development and sales management positions in the healthcare business environment. His experience ranges from large multinational corporations, including 16 years at Pfizer, to leading-edge startup companies. He is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Business.
Director of Finances and Operations
Mireille Nelson has an extensive background in business management, finance and marketing. She has applied her sharp organizational and leadership expertise in areas of e-commerce, education, travel, and public relations. She started her career with a focus on international marketing for a $1B international industrial engineering company in Europe.
Avadhut Joshi, Ph.D.
Clinical Pharmacogenomics Lead
Avadhut previously led preclinical development for small molecule inhibitors for high grade glioma as Research Associate Faculty in Neurosurgery/Neuro-Oncology Johns Hopkins University, where he also served as a Research Fellow.
Support and Integrations Manager
Jared received his M.Eng. in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University and brings technical and scientific experience to Translational’s support team. Prior to joining, he conducted research in both translational neuromedicine and nanoparticle drug delivery.
Software Engineering Manager
Jeremy has a nearly 15 years of development experience from embedded systems to n-tier web-based solutions. He combines his expertise in management, software development, and problem solving to help lead the engineering team.
Jennifer brings a talent for distilling insight from complex information. She majored in Biochemistry at the University of Washington, where she helped start a project on Ogden Syndrome genetics as an undergraduate researcher in the pharmacology department.
Technical Account Associate for Science
Jessica received her M.S. in Pharmacogenomics from Manchester University and has a background in pharmaceutical science. She uses her customer service experience in tandem with her degree to assist our clients with their science training and validation.
Technical Account Associate
For the past 13 years, Nikolay has provided operational and technical support to medical sites, internal teams, and vendors to run clinical studies. He is a graduate of the Eastern Washington University.
Senior Software Engineer
Joe received his degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington. Prior to joining TSI, he spent 6 years at Microsoft working on cloud services and data indexing engines for Xbox and Windows.
